The Enhance Social Enterprise Network Partnership

The Enhance Social Enterprise Network Devon and Somerset is led by Devon Communities Together, in partnership with Essence of Exeter, Plymouth Social Enterprise Network, Local Spark Torbay and The Community Council of Somerset.

Each partner network supports and brings together a whole range of social enterprises in its area, as well as forming part of the overall Enhance umbrella. Members get tailored local support combined with the benefits of being a part of a large regional network.

Enhance Social Enterprise Network Devon & Somerset has been created as part of The Heart of the South West Enhance Social Enterprise Programme is receiving funding from the England European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural & Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.

Devon Communities Together, the community council for Devon, is a champion for its people and environment – helping communities help themselves. Among many other projects and services we facilitate the Devon Rural Social Enterprise Network, providing support for the many and varied social enterprises in Devon.

Smart Communities (Somerset)

Smart Communities team is part of the Community Council for Somerset and are the delivery partners for the Enhance Social Enterprise Network in Somerset. Our vision is a more socially enterprising economy in Somerset. This means an economy that supports strong local economic activity that promotes the well-being of people and planet; one that reduces inequality and one that finds ways to restore and regenerate our natural world.
